Families, friends, and organizations can donate to memorialize the selfless service our veterans and their families have provided to our country. Donations are used to beautify the cemetery grounds. Donors receive a letter acknowledging their deductible donation. A donor box is located in the vestibule of the Administration Building.

One privately funded project is the Avenue of Flags at the west entrance drive of the cemetery. Others include the Iowa's Fallen Heroes Monument, the glass enclosure of the committal shelter, the five service flagpoles encircling the shelter plaza, the bronze plaque at the shelter, and the majestic bronze eagle at the columbaria plaza. Corporate donors and hundreds of individual donors assisted with the funding of the Interstate 80 wall project.

Support the Iowa Veterans Cemetery by buying a Commemorative Medal. Proceeds from the sale of our Bronze and Silver Iowa Veterans Commemorative Medals are used to pay for continuing beautification efforts.

The Commemorative Medals can be bought from the cemetery. If you have questions about donation projects, please contact the cemetery.

Iowa Veterans and their families thank you for your continued support.
