Visiting Hours
Visitors are welcome at any time. Formal visiting hours are posted throughout the facility. Most doors are locked by 10 p.m. After 10 p.m., visitors can enter through the main entrance of the Loftus building.

We welcome individual and group tours. Please call ahead and plan your tour so we have staff ready upon your arrival. Tours are provided Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Special arrangements can be made for a weekend or after-hours tour. Please email us or call to set up a tour at 1-800-645-4591 or 641-752-1501.

The Iowa Veterans Home's gift shop has a wide variety of products for sale. Items in our gift shop include t-shirts, coffee mugs, greeting cards and jean rugs. There are also a wide variety of leather, ceramic, and craft items made in the activity center classes.
